6 people with 2 guides. We visited two unique areas. In the western ghats we covered the standard circuit. 14 days in Gujurat allowed for extensive travel allowing all the specialized birds to be found plus Asian lion, Spotted hyena, Indian wolf and jungle cat.
N & S India: Feb 6 - 28, 2025
10 people with 2 guides and local tribal guides. This is a unique and popular trip I do that splits are time between the Western Ghats of Kerela and Tamil Nadu in the south, and the central Himalayan foothills in the north. Here we visited Corbett National Park and some areas higher up the mountain. An extension also added on Bharatpur and Dolphur.
NE India: March 1 - 24, 2025
6 people with 2 guides and local tribal guides. We focused on four main areas. Sikkim, where we were the first foreign nationals to visit the remote Tibetan plateau region; the Mishmi Hills of eastern Aranachal Pradesh; Eastern Assam; and, Nagaland. Over 500 bird species were found.
Veracruz, Mexico: Sep 26 - Oct 10, 2025
5 people with 2 guides. The tour hit the peak broad-wing hawk migration and we experienced half a million birds in two days. We covered most of the local hotspots in tge area to see other migrants and endemics as well as visiting the Los Tuxlas rainforest region to the south.
Gambia & Senegal: Jan 8 - 25, 2026

11 people with 2 guides. Essentially we covered the same area but in reverse. We covered a lot of ground and found almost all the iconic birds of the region. Including close to 400 species.
NW India: Feb 18 - March 4, 2026
12 people with 3 guides and two weeks. The classic NW India trip combining the planes of tge Delhi region ( Ranthambhore, Bharatpur, Sultanpur) with Corbett National Park in the Himalayan foothills and Satal and Pangot at higher elevations.
Veracruz: Sep 29 - Oct 8, 2026
7 people with two guides. 14 days to experience the river of raptors spectacle, endemic birds of Veracruz, the remote region of Los Tuxlas and local cultural activities. This tour benefited the non-profit Pronatura, Veracruz.
Oaxaca: Oct 26 - Nov 3, 2026
7 people, 10 days with two guides. This was timed to balance cultural experiences during the day of the dead festivities and the endemic and local birds of Oaxaca.
Deserts and Forests of India: Jan 29 - Feb 28, 2027
Month long trip with 7 people and multiple guides. We visited many areas in this unique trip. Starting off in the deserts of Rajasthan, we moved to the Kashmir valley and then the high elevations of Ladakh and the Tibetan Plateau for Snow Leopard. For a totally different change of scenery we moved to Aranachal Pradesh and the Eagle nest sanctuary before finishing in Manas National Park in Assam.
Wild India: March 1-31, 2027
Month long trip with two people to some of the best birding areas in India. Starting off in NW India in the 7 day circuit of Bharatpur, Ranthambore and Sultanpur, we later moved to the NE. Here we targeted birds on both sides of the Bramaputra river in Nagaland to the south, Assam and then Aranachal Pradesh to the north with the Eaglenest sanctuary as the highlight. Elevation range from 100-14000ft.
